CATEGORIES: Pro & Amateurs.
ENTRY FEE: Pro LDET Player 350€, Pro player 400€ & Amateurs 60€. (Registrations closed)
- Competitors earn points for the World ranking
- Players welcome pack + HIRZL gloves for the LDET players + Marco Calabresi ( official speaker) & Oara Albrecht (official DJ) + music + amazing atmosphere.
- RED BULL: free energy drink all day.
- Free round of golf for the LDET member players. Green fee for the other players: 150€.
- Special Italian dinner on Friday 10th. Free for all players.
PRIZE MONEY: OPEN PRO (based on a minimum of 19 players). From 20 pro players onward, 80% of the registrations will be allocated to the prize money. Max. 32 players - Note: Prize money has been increased by 48,5% since the initial purse.

Professionals & Amateurs
PROFESSIONALS: Following the European Ranking from last season (Pros)
- 4 groups (3 sets / 6 balls par set /best ball counts).
- The top 5 players from each group qualify.
- The top 2 qualify directly to the Top 16 / Matchplays.
- The 3rd, 4th and 5th place finishers move to the Top 12 stage::
- 2 groups of 6 players (Group 1 + Group 4 & Group 2 + Group 3)
- 2 sets
- The top 4 players from each group qualify for the Top 16 / Matchplays.
Matchplays = Top 16, Quarter finals, Semifinals and the Big final: The best of 3 sets.
AMATEURS: 1 group - 3 sets / Top 2 qualify for the Semifinals. / 3rd to 6h qualify for the 1/4.
Matchplays = Quarter finals (Best of 1 set) / Semifinals and the Big final: The best of 3 sets.

11.00-19.00: Free practice all day at the designated area.
17.00-18.30: Official training at the competition area + Players registration + signature + welcome pack.
19.00: Special Italian dinner at the club house with all the competitors.

Marco Simone Golf
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, designed by the famous Architect Jim Fazio, has been completely renewed by Tom Fazio II and the European Golf Design to host the Ryder Cup in September, 2023. In these years Marco Simone Golf & Country Club hosted three editions of the DS AUTOMOBILES Italian Open and other important professional and amateur tournaments.
The different starting tees provided (4 for men and 3 for women) allow all players to play the course from the most appropriate length, making Marco Simone’s experience special and motivating for all. The course unfolds in an exceptionally large area, giving the players who compete on Marco Simone’s Golf Course a real sense of freedom. The proximity to Rome is an adding point to visit Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
