Long Drivers European Tour expands its Global reach and joins forces with the Asian Long Drive Association (ALDA)
Europe is heading to China.
The Long Drivers European Tour (LDET) is proud to announce a major new step in its international expansion through a collaboration with the Asian Long Drive Association (ALDA).
For the first time, Europe will compete as the European All Stars Team at the Asia Long Drive Cup, a historic international competition bringing together some of the strongest Long Drive nations from around the world.
The tournament will take place on November 29, 2026, at Liujiang Bay International Golf Club in Liuzhou, China, and will feature national teams representing countries including Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand, alongside the European All Stars Team.
The European All Stars will consist of 5 players: four men and one woman. The four male players will be selected from the top four positions in the final LDET European Ranking, which will be confirmed this Sunday following the European Championships, the final event of the season.
With everything still to play for, Europe’s leading long drivers will be competing not only for the European title, but also for the chance to earn a place on the European All Stars Team and represent the continent on the international stage in China.
The female member of the team will complete a powerful European line-up built to compete against the very best Long Drive talent from Asia and Oceania.
Led by Xavier, CEO & Founder of the Long Drivers European Tour, the European All Stars will travel to China with one clear ambition: to compete for the title and bring the prestigious Asia Long Drive Cup trophy back to Europe.
Xavier, CEO & Founder of LDET, “This is a historic moment for the Tour and for the sport of Long Drive in Europe. The LDET Tour is taking a huge step forward in its international expansion, opening new opportunities for our players and strengthening the connection between the European and Asian Long Drive communities.
I would especially like to thank ALDA for their trust, for this agreement, and for inviting Europe to be part of such an important international competition. We will travel to China with the strongest possible team, ready to represent Europe at the highest level and fight to bring the trophy back to the Old Continent.”
Shine, Director of the Asian Long Drive Association (ALDA): “We are very excited to welcome the Long Drivers European Tour and the European All Stars Team to the Asia Long Drive Cup. The participation of Europe represents an important milestone for this event and reflects the continued global growth of Long Drive.
