Bry Roberts crowned champion of the FRANCE LDET
May 2025, Beaune (France) – The second event of the 2025 Long Drive European Tour (LDET) season saw a spectacular performance by Bry Roberts (WAL), who clinched the FRANCE LDET Championship title after dominating throughout the day. Roberts not only secured the win, but also set a new season record with a monstrous 383-yard drive.
Roberts’ consistent power and precision proved too much for his competitors, solidifying his status as one of the top contenders for the 2025 LDET crown.
However, the true surprise of the tournament came from Belgium’s Florent Roaekaerts, who captured the attention of fans and competitors alike. Roaekaerts, competing in the amateur category, delivered an outstanding performance, winning his division and making an incredible run to the Pro Final, defeating several top-seeded favorites along the way.

Beaune, France – For the first time ever, the Long Drivers European Tour (LDET) will make a thrilling stop in the historic wine capital of Beaune. The upcoming FRANCE LDET tournament promises to deliver an unforgettable display of power and precision, featuring a perfect grid designed to set new records.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Golf de Beaune-Levernois, this competition will bring together some of the biggest hitters (from Europe and also from USA, México, Canada...) to battle for distance supremacy. The grid’s perfect conditions—flat terrain, perfect tee box and favorable wind orientation—make it the ideal stage for long drive athletes to shatter personal and tour records.
This marks a significant milestone for the LDET, expanding its footprint into one of France’s most iconic regions and promising fans an electrifying new venue.
