The 2026 LDET calendar unleashed

The 2026 season is set to be nothing short of extraordinary, with 8 electrifying tournaments across the continent—each one ready to test the power, precision, and spirit of Europe’s greatest hitters.

The journey begins in April, at the legendary Marco Simone in Rome —host of the 2023 Ryder Cup. Italy once again becomes the battleground where Europe’s longest hitters will unleash their might.

In May, the Tour heads to Bourgogne, France  for the FRANCE LDET—the same course where Welsh warrior Bry Roberts claimed victory last year.

In JuneGolf Burgwedel returns in full force as the host of the GERMANY LDET . Expect a grid—and a challenge—worthy of legends.

Then comes July, and with it, monumental news: we head to Camiral Golf Course in Catalonia, Spain —the newly appointed host of the 2031 Ryder Cup. A stage built for heroes.

In August, the battle moves to Austria . The legendary Diamond Country Club—one of Europe’s crown jewels —will witness champion Aaron Lennie attempt to defend his title.

At the end of the month, the Tour crosses to the United Kingdom  for the returning UK LDET Championship, hosted at Tournerbury Golf Center.

September ignites the race toward glory with the SPAIN LDET —its venue soon to be revealed, fueling anticipation across the continent.

And finally, the season reaches its epic finale in Romania . The MASTERS CUP awaits—the ultimate battleground where the Top 10 players in Europe will clash for glory. Only one will rise as champion.

Jenson Evans makes history in Italy

This Sunday, June 17th, the third tournament of the season — the ITALY LDET Championship — was held at the stunning Antognolla Golf course. The young 18-year-old Jenson Evans (ENG), claimed his first professional victory, defeating fellow Englishman Luke Curtis in a thrilling final by a narrow 2-1 set margin (409/410/401 vs. 416/381/0). Every set was a battle, every shot a statement — and Evans delivered when it mattered most.

Brad Pearmain secured third place after defeating the electrifying Belgian player Tanguy Marionex.

It was an intense and emotional day under extreme heat, with temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius and a spectacular grid that added to the drama.

At just 18 years old, Evans etches his name into the record books as the youngest champion in the history of the LDET Tour. A star is born on Italian soil.

Luke Curtis sets new LDET Record with 465 -yard drive

At this weekend’s tournament, professional long driver Luke Curtis made history by setting a new Long Drivers European Tour (LDET) record with an astonishing 465.03-yard drive.

The previous record, which had remained untouched since 2018, was decisively broken by Curtis’s powerful performance, marking a new milestone in the sport.

This achievement not only cements Curtis’s status as one of the top competitors in the game but also pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in professional long drive.

New Record: 465.03 yards - LUKE CURTIS
Previous Record: Set in 2018 (443) - ROBIN HORVATH

Bry Roberts crowned champion of the FRANCE LDET

May 2025, Beaune (France) – The second event of the 2025 Long Drive European Tour (LDET) season saw a spectacular performance by Bry Roberts (WAL), who clinched the FRANCE LDET Championship title after dominating throughout the day. Roberts not only secured the win, but also set a new season record with a monstrous 383-yard drive.

Roberts’ consistent power and precision proved too much for his competitors, solidifying his status as one of the top contenders for the 2025 LDET crown.

However, the true surprise of the tournament came from Belgium’s Florent Roaekaerts, who captured the attention of fans and competitors alike. Roaekaerts, competing in the amateur category, delivered an outstanding performance, winning his division and making an incredible run to the Pro Final, defeating several top-seeded favorites along the way.

Champion: Bry Roberts, 2nd Florent Roeakaerts & 3rd Josh Freedman.

Horvath claims explosive victory at the Belgium LDET

Mol (Belgium), 28th April – Robin Horvath, the German long driver, has claimed victory in the opening tournament of the 2025 Long Drivers European Tour season. In a thrilling final, Horvath triumphed over England’s Brad Pearmain to take home the first-place trophy.

The competition, held at the Steenhoven Country Club showcased incredible performances from some of the world’s top long drivers, but it was Horvath’s consistent power and precision that earned him the top spot. Pearmain fought valiantly, but Horvath’s performance in the final proved to be too much, securing his place at the top of the podium.

In the battle for third place, Welshman Bry Roberts triumphed over Northern Ireland’s Aaron Lennie, securing a well-earned spot on the podium after a fierce contest.

This victory not only marks a triumphant start to Horvath’s 2025 season, but it also sends a powerful message to the rest of the field: the "Hungarian Hulk" is back. With the rest of the season ahead, fans can expect even more breathtaking drives.
