ZALA SPRINGS GOLF RESORT (www.zalasprings.hu) A unique golf experience is guaranteed by one of the world’s finest course designers Robert Trent Jones, Jr., whose outstanding career spans more than four decades. The 18 hole championship golf course is 6650 m long (PAR 72) built within natural reserves, vineyards and lakes.

Our state of the art, 3-storied, 3000 m2 clubhouse opened in the middle of September, 2015. It offers reception, pro shop, golf simulator room, changing rooms, television and cigar room and Spike Bar with bistro restaurant. Also on the first floor a fine dining international restaurant with the possibility of a private area to organise lunches, dinners and small meetings for companies, and family occasions.

Past Champions: In 2016 the Finish Teemu Pitkänen and in 2017 the German Vincent Palm (longest ball record of Zala Springs) with a bomb of 424 yards.

On the clubhouse terrace area by the 18th green we have an outside restaurant and bar with beautiful views onto the golf course. The outside terrace bar is built around an 18 hole fully illuminated putting green which gives the golf players and guests the possibility to practice also in the evenings.

Location

SHUTTLE TRANSFER: The golf club offers a special transfer from Budapest airport to Zalacsánay. For the players arriving on Friday we can organize a transfer if we have a minimum of 4. AIR: Flying to Budapest, Hungary
The Liszt Ferenc International Airport at Budapest offers plenty of connections both nationally and internationally. Car Hire is available from the major firms from the airport and from the city centre. Upon request we offer an airport shuttle service to Zala Springs Golf to our guests.
Flying to Hévíz-Balaton, Hungary (April to November): Hévíz-Balaton Airport welcomes visitors from major European cities. The airport is only 15 minutes’ drive from Zala Springs Golf Resort and it has a complimentary shuttle service. Car Hire is also available at the airport.

CAR: Driving from Budapest: Take Highway M7/E71 to Balaton, pass by Siófok and take exit 76 to Balatonszentgyörgy, turn right and take route 71 towards Keszthely. Pass by Hévíz on road 760 and in 5 kms arrive to Zalacsány. Your trip will take about 2 hours.
Driving from Vienna: Take road A4 towards Linz. At Linz continue along E59 towards Eisenstadt. After entering into Hungary take road 84 towards Sárvár. Pass Kehidakustány and arrive to Zalacsány. It will take you a bit more than 2 hours.
