CZECH REPUBLIC LDET Champ.: 9th July
GOLF CLUB PRAHA (www.gcp.cz). It was founded in 1926 and as such is amongst the oldest golf clubs in the Czech Republic. Located in the Prague 5 district on the heights above the city the 2755 metre, 9-hole course is a real challenge primarily due to the courses hilly terrain. With sloping fairways, abundant trees and woods on the course it is a stiff test to the technical ability of every golfer.
The 9 holes course in Motol was founded in area of former military parade ground in early 1970s. It was projected by architect Kamil Pilat and it is characteristic for
very rolling teraine. Thanks to perfect location and quality background the course enable nice experience from a game right in the capital.
The Golf Club Praha elevated clubhouse at the top of the course houses a pro shop, golf equipment rental and changing rooms with showers as well as a cozy bar and restaurant. Adjoining the restaurant
is an outdoor, balcony-like, summer terrace perched above the 9th green providing a great view over the course and to Prague below - an ideal spot for enjoying a relaxing drink after a round.
