It´s time to fight for the 2018 European crown
January 29th 2018.- Last year he had a great year winning the Austria championship and finishing third in Europe at the end of the season. It´s time to
fight for the European crown.
"It’s great to have an LDET event in Belgium and I will fight to win the tournament in my home country! I’m going to give my best to hit some bombs and beat my personal record (423
yards)".
Tanguy Marionex:new player of the 2016 tour
1.- What are your goals for the season?
This will be the first time that I will play the whole season. My goal is to progress in every competition and I’d like to hit as close as possible to the 400 yards. The competition is tough but I’d like to reach the semi-finals at least once. Mostly I want to have a good time and gain experience. The LDET competition is also a great opportunity to discover new and amazing courses all around Europe.
2.- What´s your training program during the winter to be ready for the season?
Golf plays a big part in my life. I am a Professional Teahing and I train as much as possible between my classes, sometimes by using the trackman. I also working on my flexibility and on increasing my club head speed. During the LDET tournaments I’d like to learn from the other experienced players and exchange best practices with them.
3.- As a player...what does it means for you play a Long Drive tournament in St. Andrews?
It has always been a dream to play on aGolf course in St.Andrews. I’m looking forward to start the LDET tour in that mythical place. It’ll also be the opportunity to discover Scotland, a country where I’ve never had the opportunity to visit.
