"I am hungry for more wins"
Thursday 26th April 2018.- Last season was your first one as a Professional long driver. Since then you have improved a lot and you have one big win in your pocket. What are your expectations for the 2018?
“I have started 2018 strong with a win in Dubai and I want to keep building from that. I just want to keep winning I’ve got a taste for it now and I’m hungry for more.”
- How do you see the level nowadays in Europe? It’s time to compete in a big event vs USA and South Africa?
“The level in Europe is getting stronger every year it’s great to see and it will only keep improving. It’s our jobs as players to make sure the awareness and exposure is maximized so the sport can grow and attract other aspiring Long Drives. It’s only a matter of time before there’s a Long Drivers Ryder cup.”
Thanks James, and yes, we are working hard to have this kind of event very soon! All the best for the new season.
Tait finds inspiration from his family
April 3rd 2017.- "Golf and long drive are in my blood; my great uncle was Freddie Tait who was British amateur champion in 1896 & 1898. He was known for hitting a long ball in those days. I will be a champion like he was.
My expectation for this year is to win. Pure and simple. In famous words of Ricky Bobby "if you're not first you're last". I can't wait to compete with Europe's finest hitters".
