September 8th 2017- The Long Drivers European Tour is proud to announce that the long drive show will be featured at the KLM Open on the European Tour. Four of the best Long Drivers on the European ranking will be invited next Saturday 16th to the KLM Open at The Dutch golf course to do a special demo show in front of the crowds on the 18th hole. June 3rd 2017, BURGWEDEL.- The English bomber Brad Pearmain (Krank Golf) has won the Germany LDET Championship beating Matt Nicolle (Brute) in a big and exciting final decided after 3 sets: Brad: 345/359/357 - Matt 350/353/354.
In senior category, Bob de Boef takes the title beating Erich Fuchs in the final.
May 31st 2017. - This weekend (2nd & 3rd June) we will have the third event of the season: the GERMANY LDET Championship.
On Friday evening we will have a welcome dinner for all the competitors and on Saturday the big tournament: with a DJ, Music, Stage for spectators, TV team filming the tournament (2 screens), Launch monitor and an excellent atmosphere. Place your bets, it´s going to be an amazing tournament. MORE
Matt Nicolle wins in Estonia

May 20th 2017, TALLINN.- The English player, Matt Nicolle, won the second tournament of the Long Drivers European Tour season after winning the final of the Estonia LDET Championship against Brad Pearmain (ENG) in two sets with two shots of 383 and 359 yards. All clubs used in competition must conform with the USGA Rules of Golf which limits length to a maximum of 48”.
March 9th 2017.- Like the World Long Drive Association (WLDA) announced a few weeks ago, a rule has changed as it relates to club length that will go into effect immediately for all future LDET (Long Drivers European Tour) tournaments. The new rule states that all clubs used in competition must conform with the USGA® Rules of Golf (Appendix II, 1c), which limits club length to a maximum of 48”. The rule will be upheld at all the events through the use of a Measuring Tool for measuring club length. LDET will measure and check all the clubs during the registrations.
The rule change in effect will reduce the previous maximum length allowed (50") and is being implemented to allow Long Drive competitors to be held to the same standard of competition as Tour professionals in accordance with the USGA. RULES
The Long Drivers European Tour premieres its fifth season in Denmark
3rd March 2017, BARCELONA. - The Long Drivers European Tour (LDET) presents the fifth season which will start next 5th and 6th May in Denmark. The Ry Silkeborg GolfKlub will host the first tournament of the LDET and new locations have been added to the LDET tour this year. 3 of the nine countries - Germany, Estonia and Spain - will return to the tour after a year of absence. Estonia will host again one of the tournaments after being absent last year; it will the second big event of the season and it will be near the capital of Tallinn next 19th & 20th May at Estonia GCC
Three new venues: Amazing scenarios
The European tour keeps growing and showcasing the talent on offer to all corners around Europe and will reach new and impressive venues such as Pravets Golf Club in Bulgaria, one of the best golf complexes in East Europe list next 11th and 12th August.
Golf Club Burgwedel in Hannover will welcome the circuit hosting the Germany tournament the first weekend of June (2nd & 3rd). Spain is back on the tour: Guadalhorce Golf Club, near the city of Malaga, will host the tournament next 23rd & 24th September.
4 countries repeat from last seson
Along with the new venues, fifth resorts will host again a LDET tournament: The first will be Denmark, which will hold a second season in a row next 5th and 6th of. This year, the long drive show will stops again in Austria at the Diamond Country Club (23th & 24th June), just two weeks after a European Tour championship event. Hungary will will receive Europe’s biggest hitters at the Zala Springs Golf Resort (5th & 6th July), a course designed by the prestigious Robert Jones, one of the best golf course designers. The Slovenia event will take place another season near the emblematic landscape of the Lake Bled at the Royal Golf Course Bled (28th and 30th July).
The last stop of the season will be the classic THE MASTERS LDET CUP. This final tournament will complete the ninth championships; the place will be confirmed very soon.
The LDET consolidates year after year and Europe will live again the long drive show. The LDET also will continue to pursue the categories of amateur, junior and women in this new season.
